Your tasks

In this challenging position you are - in close collaboration with RF engineering specialists - responsible for the mechanical development of our innovative Antenna products, ranging from classical to mm-wave frequencies. Thus your professional designs consider the relevant mechanical characteristics, the choice of materials and the manufacturing processes. Your tasks as Project Engineer range from concept creation to final release for production. In the context of these product development efforts you will work highly independent for one part, but also in close cooperation with the development teams of other departments. Besides the interaction with internal specialists you will collaborate closely with our customers, suppliers, universities and institutes. Thus, you will stay in touch with latest market requirements and be responsible for bringing in new ideas/technologies from research institutions for our next generation of innovative antenna products. Key words describing highly relevant technologies are (high precision) plastic injection moulding, die casting and hybrid technologies for joining of different materials as metal or plastic components.

Your profile

Ideally you have a major technical degree in mechanical engineering and 5+ years of experience in a similar position. You have a good knowledge in the use of 3D CAD tools, experience in the use of FEM simulation would be an asset. You communicate and plan in a professional and systematic way and you are able to meet timelines and cost-efficiency goals. Your ability to drive, coordinate and lead projects and your customer-oriented thinking will be the basis of your professional success. As part of a global team you convincingly communicate well in German and English.
