Competitive Salary

A new opportunity has arisen for a leading company working in the area of display technology for consumer devices. They are currently expanding and seek an experienced Analog IC Design engineer for their established team based in Oxfordshire UK.

In this role you will be tasked with leading expansion of new design activities in a strategically important field.

Responsibilities will include leading the full development cycle for circuit design, layout, testing and patenting of novel circuits, propose and develop circuits for displays including in-pixel compensation for ageing, compact circuit design for high density and high aperture ratio displays and optimisation of circuits for oxide TFT (thin-film-transistor) backplanes. You will be involved in the simulation of electrical properties of TFT circuits and OLED devices and will liaise with the manufacturing division for fabrication of prototype TFT circuits.

Industry degree qualified (2:1 Masters or PhD) with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience, the successful applicant will have experience in the full development cycle of transistor level Analog circuit design, layout, experimental testing and design for manufacture (DFM) techniques as well as strong Cadence design tool experience.

Experience in Analog IC Design for displays (LCD, OLED) is highly desired as well as high-level modelling of Analog/Mixed Signal circuits (e.g. Verilog-A). Experience in patenting of Analog circuits is desired as well as a good understanding of semiconductor device physics.
