This Senior RF IC Design Engineer role is located in the popular and scenic French speaking part of Switzerland and is for an established and growing company working in the area of IOT solutions.

As Senior RF IC Engineer, you will have proven industrial experience and as well as hands-on RF IC design you will be serving as an RF IC design leader within a highly skilled team of IC, hardware and Software engineers.

Responsibilities include:

-RF IC design: develop, simulate and validate RF, Analog/Mixed-Signal ICs.
-Supervise layout with backend team.
-IC design technical lead for the RF transceiver section providing expert consulting to Project Managers, other IC designers, FAE team and customers.
-Define RF architecture and conduct RF system studies.
-System-level design.
-Solve complex technical problems spreading over multiple domains around the radio section of SoCs (interfaces, digital system, power management unit, packaging, etc).
-Benchmark competitive solutions and IPs, study technology and standard trends, contribute to the BU's wireless roadmap.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 7 experience in RF IC Design ideally in the field of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) RF SoCs in deep-submicron CMOS using Cadence tools. You will have an excellent knowledge in all aspects of IC development, from definition to product release.

Experience is required in some or all of the following:

-Design of RF/Analog/Mixed-Signal blocks including; LNAs, PAs, mixers, PLLs, VCOs, crystal oscillators, ADC/DAC, Analog/Digital filters.
-Understanding wireless product requirements, conducting RF system analysis and breakdown along signal chain.
-Use of state-of-the-art RF IC design/simulation tools and methodologies.:
-Ultra-low-power and low-voltage (1V) RF and Analog IC design.
-Design, modelling and simulation of passives used for RF transceivers.
-Understanding of RF coupling mechanisms.
-Hands-on experience with on-chip / PCB coupling

Excellent communication skills in English are required with knowledge of the French language an advantage.
