Graduate Digital Physical Design Engineer - ASIC, Cambridge

Our client, the world's leading developer of cutting-edge mobile technology has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Digital Physical Design Engineer to join them in Cambridge.

As a Graduate Physical Design Engineer, you will join an ASIC Implementation team which specialises in the RTL-GDSII implementation of mixed signal integrated circuits (ICs). You will be working alongside seasoned experts, developing your skills as a Physical Design Engineer, and gaining experience in synthesis, timing closure, DFT (Design for Test), Place & Route and tape-out. You will receive excellent training, and enjoy developing your knowledge of the latest low power design methodologies.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

*A Master's qualification in Electronics / Computer Science or related field
*A keen interest in digital SoC / ASIC design
*Some prior experience, perhaps from a project, of at least one area of ASIC implementation (for instance physical synthesis, STA, floorplanning, or DFT/ATPG insertion)
*Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl, TCL)
*A motivated, proactive work ethic, and a keen desire to learn
