I am currently sourcing a PhD educated Head of Research with in-depth understanding of Computer Vision and Machine Learning to join a very exciting, award winning start-up based in Manchester; known to be one of the most innovative start-ups of its kind. This opportunity would see you joining the senior management team and reporting directly to the CEO. What can they offer you? Eligible Head of Research engineers will have a doctorate in Computer Vision, Machine Learening or similar, and must have industry research and development experience in;

*Deep learning, convolutional neural networks.
*3D computer vision, SLAM, structure from motion.
*Image segmentation.
*Object detection
*Programming in C++ & Python
*Technical Leadership / Management / C-level experience
