Newcastle, North West England

Based in Newcastle, this is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Senior Power Supply Design Engineer the to join a well established engineering team in Newcastle, working on the design and development of advanced power products for mobile applications. Responsibilities include the design of Power Supplies, Battery Chargers and DC-DC converters

As the Lead Design Engineer & Project Leader from conception to production, the successful candidate will be supervising technicians and junior engineers on a daily basis and leading the company's most advanced projects. You must be a team player who can also work well individually, possessing good problem-solving skills, communication skills and passion for electronics and success!

The successful candidate will be a Senior Engineer with a strong background in:

*Switch Mode Power Supply design
*DC-DC converter design
*Analog and digital circuit design
*PCB layout
*Leading a team of junior engineers

Desirable skills include motor control, power electronics, microprocessor control and interfacing and battery chargers. A background automotive electronics is also desirable.

You must have a minimum degree grade of 2:1 and significant professional experience in the electronics industry.

Based in Newcastle, this position comes with an excellent salary of £45,000 + benefits, including life insurance and pension.
