HPC / EDA / CAD Software Engineer - France

My client, a world leading EDA / CAD software tools vendor has a number of positions on their EDA / CAD software development team, based in Grenoble, working the development of their Spice analog and mixed signal EDA software design tools on HPC platforms.

The successful HPC / EDA / CAD Software Engineer will be Degree or PhD qualified with a major in HPC / parallel computing and proven experience post academia. Also required is:

-Strong background in parallel programming
-Advanced practice of C programming and Unix. T
-Experience developing simulation software running on HPC machines.
-Good knowledge of the architecture of HPC clusters
-HPC Cluster related development, monitoring tools and libraries (notably MPI).
-Development of sophisticated algorithms available in Spice EDA / CAD

A background in analog simulation would be a plus.

The successful HPC / EDA / CAD Software Engineer will join their Analog team developing the latest Spice simulation engines and make a significant contribution to the architecture, design, implementation and verification of next generation of products. This will involve writing technical specifications, algorithmic descriptions and test plans, etc.
