GPU Hardware Verification Engineer
My client is looking for a proactive GPU Hardware Verification Engineer to join their dynamic and motivated graphics team in the Media Processing Division. This position offers the chance to work on their high performance, low consumption 3D graphics processors for the consumer, wireless and automotive infotainment markets.

This exciting multinational company designs the world's most advanced IP, and is looking for several talented graphics experts to pioneer new technologies in the next generation of advanced graphics cores at their sites in Europe.

Modern GPUs are extremely complex pieces of hardware which require innovative and efficient verification techniques, and you will have the opportunity to work as part of a world class engineering team on highly challenging GPU development projects. You will need to have the enthusiasm, drive and initiative to be at the forefront of advanced multimedia IP, with a specific interest in 3D Graphics.

The ideal GPU Hardware Verification Engineer will have:
*proven experience with 3D Graphics or GPUs
*proven experience in VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog/SystemC/Specman
*knowledge of UVM, OVM, VMM or eRM techniques
*programming experience in C/C++, Unix and Shell
*proficiency in Perl, Python or Assembler.
*knowledge and some experience of the verification flow from design architecture to verification sign-off, verification planning, formal verification, prototyping and/or emulation would be beneficial but is not required.

Effective problem solving, communication and team leadership and mentoring skills are essential, as well as a 1st or 2:1 in a relevant degree.

The successful candidate will be working within a highly specialised team on innovative and efficient verification techniques. You will use randomised testing to come up with interesting and unlikely scenarios, flushing out issues from module level to the architecture level. You will be further developing this strategy with the aim to increase verification efficiency and improve the overall quality of the product.
