Exciting opportunity for a high calibre Software Engineer with low level Linux and C programming coupled with great communication skills to be based at the European R&D Centre of this leading technology company in Cambridge.

You will be working within a small committed team responsible for driving product improvement by writing new embedded C based software modules, liaising with both customers and internal engineering heads to drive innovation and for supporting clients by writing bespoke solutions to their problems.

You will have a good technical education coupled with a great embedded software development background including developing software under Linux in C. Exposure to any functional programming languages, Ocaml, Haskell, F# etc, would be a benefit as would some customer liaison exposure and x86 knowledge.
