Senior Electronics Engineer

Our client, a global leader in their field, based in West Yorkshire are seeking to recruit a Senior Electronics Engineer to their R&D team as they go through a period of exciting growth. Working with global brands in various sectors the company produce leading edge products in a fast and vibrant culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design of safety critical analogue and digital circuits.
  • Designing PCB layouts
  • Firmware programming and testing
  • Specifying and designing manufacturing test equipment
  • Fault finding and trouble shooting.
  • Designing to and supporting the testing process to applicable standards (CE, FCC etc).
  • Working with manufacturing teams in troubleshooting manufacturing related problems

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering,
  • Significant experience of both analogue and digital electronic design
  • Experience with schematic design and PCB layout tools
  • RF, Bluetooth, Wifi knowledge is desirable
  • Experience with NPI and interaction with full project lifecycle.
  • Experience with firmware and software programming (C, Assembler, LabView)
  • Experience of coaching and mentoring junior engineers

  • Flexitime – core hours 8.30am to 5.00pm (Flexitime offered can start between 7.30 and 9.30am and thus finish any time from 4pm onwards)
