Applications Engineer - MATLAB, SIMULINK, HIL
Salary £35,000 - £50,000 - Norfolk

Our established automotive client are recruiting for an Applications Engineer to provide simulation and programming expertise to vehicle dynamics projects within the automotive and motorsport sectors.  You will be responsible for the scripting and simulation within various software packages such as MATLAB, SIMULINK and dSPACE.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Operation of various software simulation tools
  • Simulation and programming in MATLAB and SIMULINK
  • Hardware in the loop (HIL) testing and simulation
  • Software troubleshooting and debugging
  • Customer Support 
Essential Skills:
  • Degree qualified in a STEM subject
  • MATLAB simulation experience
  • SIMULINK simulation experience
  • Hardware in the loop experience ideally in dSPACE
  • Evidence of complex troubleshooting and product re-engineering.
  • Experience of using vehicle simulation and scenario tools.
  • Ability to document systems and procedures.
  • Experience of, or a strong interest in the automotive or motorsport sectors

Salary and Benefits:
