My client, a leading smart buildings IOT company, is seeking a New Business Sales Manager to join their growing European team. You will have a proven track record of bringing new solutions to market and will be able to hit the ground running with a complex solution sale. You will be the first person on the ground in Germany and thus be based close to the new office in Essen.
· Relevant technical degree (or equivalent)
· Proven track record of business development within the smart building / IOT industry; able to sell complex solutions and hit-the-ground-running.
· Solid understanding of IOT solutions: connected lighting, smart buildings, etc.
· Experience, and contacts, from selling into large blue-chip organisations.
· Manage a key, strategic account in Germany - acting as the local point of contact and building good rapport.
· Develop new business by bringing on new smart building customers across Europe.
· Hit and exceed targets; developing strong relationships and rapport throughout.
· Manage strategic accounts and develop business in new countries.
Open to an IOT solution sales professional who can both manage a major account as well as develop new business across Europe. You will be the first hire for Germany and therefore it is a fantastic opportunity to grow the European business and make it your own.
