Analog IC Design - Project Leader
An opportunity has arisen for an Analog IC Design Project Leader to join a successful and growing company where you have the opportunity to lead projects across a variety of designs for different technology areas and applications including; automotive, medical and industrial.
In this role the Analog IC Design Project Leader will be responsible for technically managing IC design and supply projects to ensure high quality results within agreed times scales. Within the role you will act as technical lead for an entire project, taking into account customer milestones and ensuring technical specifications and quality standards are met.
Other responsibilities include:
· Write the IC design specifications
· Regular team member follow ups for designers, layouters and testers
· Support and coach team members
· Maintain detailed overview and knowledge of the complete project
· Organise and attend meetings to keep abreast about the project progress
· Be the technical point of contact for the customer
· Closely work together with and report matters to the Project Manager
The role would suit someone in a similar position or a Principal Analog IC Designer who is looking for the next step in their career, or alternatively a Team Leader who is interested in moving into a Project Lead position.
You will be expected to be an experienced user of the design tools and flows using Cadence and/or Synopsys and Matlab and will have a strong technical background in Analog / Mixed Signal IC Design.
You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership ability and excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication skills in English are required.
