Principal RF IC Design Engineer - PLLs
A chance to work with some of the best RF IC Designers in the industry has arisen, located in Cambridge, this is an opportunity for a Principal RF IC Designer to further their career in this the area of Cellular/Mobile applications.
Joining an established and highly experienced team of RF IC Designers, you will be working on the specification, architecture design and circuit design of Synthesizer systems for next generation multi-standard cellular transceivers in advanced CMOS technologies. The core focus of this position will be on delivering highly competitive 5G cellular Synthesizers, with leading-edge performance using innovative architectures and circuit implementations.
As the successful RF IC design engineer you will have a deep understanding of PLL systems, architectures and circuits with hands on design experience working on state-of-the-art architectures for low noise, fast locking PLLs as well as on the design of high performance VCOs or DCOs. A proven track record of delivering high performance products to mass production is of interest for the role along with the motivation and innovation to improve the performance of PLLs for next generation cellular Radios.
Excellent communication skills are required for the role, a strong team player, the successful RF IC Design Engineer will be capable of operating both as an individual contributor and work closely with other teams.
Industry degree qualified you will have specific experience in PLL design preferably for RF IC applications as well as PLL sub-blocks design such as VCOs/DCOs/PFD/TDC. Excellent knowledge of Cadence tools is also required.
