This Computer Vision Engineer vacancy is based in New Brunswick, Canada with my client who is developing technology that revolutionises quality analysis and management of stock in the biggest and arguably, the most important industry in the world so the potential is huge! What can you expect? Primary responsibilities from day one will be in the productization of their core offering; taking their current models, improving and optimizing using a powerful, purpose-built deep learning AI System. As they grow further, you will have the opportunity to lead and innovate.

Eligible Computer Vision Engineers will likely have a MSc or PhD from a renowned University for computer vision, 2 years commercial experience and the know-how to;

  • Build neural networks for image processing (ideally CNN) not just using these as a tool
  • Python programming

  • The successful candidate is likely to have experience in several of the following also;

  • Implementing on an embedded platform
  • GPU programming
  • CUDA
  • Image segmentation
  • Object detection
  • Classification
  • Semantic segmentation
