A global technology giant in the field of wireless connectivity solutions has an exciting new position for an Analog IC Design Engineer to join their established and growing team in Cork, Southern Ireland.
In this position the Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer will be designing low-power, low-voltage Analog and Mixed Signal circuits in advanced FINFET technology nodes!
· Analog/Mixed Signal Circuit design in 10nm and 7nm FinFet CMOS processes technologies
· Develop Analog/Mixed Signal hard macros
· Participate in internal customer requirements discussions
· Create design specifications
· Create behavioral models in Verilog
· Set-up, run and analyse circuit simulations
· Perform silicon characterisation
Industry degree qualified, the successful Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer will have 4-8 years of Analog IC Design experience in CMOS using Cadence tools including experience in architecture, design tools, scripting tools, programming languages and with design verification methods.
Experience is required in some or all of the following; Differential ring oscillators, LC tank oscillators, bandgap references, current references, biasing techniques, high speed frequency divider circuits and linear feedback system techniques. Knowledge of PLL, DLL, Oscillators, SERDES and high-speed digital circuits is a plus.
Strong analytical and organisational skills are essential. Excellent communication skills are required in English with good team working skills with some project leadership skills a benefit.
