DTV Engineer - Standards, Software

Location West of London

Salary Levels; Extremely Competitive

This is an excellent opportunity to drive future Digital TV standards. You will be working with a real leader in consumer electronics development based at their European R+D Centre in the Thames Valley. You will be working with Broadcasters and Network Operators road mapping future deployment of emerging technology, ensuring all standards are being met to keep this organisation at the forefront of this exciting technology.

You will have been developing DTV software for STB or Integrated Digital TV systems. You will have a good understanding of Digital TV Networks, Satellite, Cable and Terrestrial coupled with some knowledge of DTV Standardisation. It would be a benefit if you have experience delivering presentations and reports to DTV Standards Organisations (DVB, DTG) but if you are an experienced Software Engineer looking to use your technical knowledge in a more commercial environment this would also be beneficial.
