Senior Applications Engineer - IGBT's

An exciting opportunity based in South Germany has become available for a Senior Applications Engineer - IGBT's, to join a fast-paced established organisation focused on the design of electronic products for a number of commercial markets but with main focus on the automotive sector.


The Senior Applications Engineer - IGBT's, will be responsible for new concepts and architectures to exploit the advantages of IGBT's. This will also include research into advanced driver schemes and verifying and characterising initial products. Other aspects of the role will also include internal and external support, produce evaluation tools and define target specifications.


You will have a degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent and a proven background in the following:


* IGBT or Rectifier Design.


* Gate driver / power switch interaction for SiC or GaN switches.


* Circuit simulations.
