HW Verification Team Lead

About the job: 

​Nordic Semiconductor´s R&D capacity is expanding.  We are looking to recruit a talented and dynamic team leader in hardware verification and semiconductor industrialization with the technical experience and communication skills to help develop and grow our portfolio.  

You will be leading a specialized, multidisciplinary team of highly motivated verification engineers that will contribute to the development of the next generation of Nordic Semiconductor devices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the planning and execution of the project’s test and verification activities, starting with initial specification and architecture design through the entire development cycle to product release. 

Your responsibilities will include oversight of result analysis, risk assessment, debugging, conformance certification and reporting progress and results to company stakeholders and management. You will act as the main point of contact, interfacing with the various in-house design teams and our supply chain in South-East Asia. Our supply chain and QA department will rely on your expertise in the transfer-to-production phase and in root cause investigations.  In addition, you will participate in the design and development of the team’s own test and verification infrastructure.  Your technical experience and excellent communication skills will be used to provide leadership and coordinate activities across a diverse range of groups and individuals. 

Essential experience and skills:

  • Master´s degree in a relevant discipline 
  • Proven technical experience in semiconductor RF- or mixed mode design, verification, or qualification activities  
  • In-depth knowledge of HW verification, qualification, and semiconductor industrialization requirements 
  • Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving abilities 
  • Excellent communication skills with a track record of technical and team leadership  
  • Fluent English language (written and oral) 
  • A self-motivated desire to improve systems/ work methodology in order to fulfil agreed goals with efficiency and improved quality
