Junior Embedded Software Engineer - Wireless communications


My client, a dynamic SME with a technological edge in one of the fastest growing areas of consumer electronics; high speed wireless transfer. With a team of industry experts, strong funding and an impressive customer base in place, this company are poised to grow exponentially.

The successful junior embedded software engineer will be designing and developing layer 2/layer 3 solutions for wireless communication protocols, ranging from low power (802.11, WiFi, Zigbee) through to 4G backhaul.

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified (2:1 minimum) and require experience in the following areas;

  • C/C++ programming
  • Wireless standards (3GPP, 4G, LTE, 802.11, 802.15)
  • Linux
  • Real time operating systems
  • Layer 2/layer 3 control and implementation
