An new opportunity has just arisen up for a talented Analog IC Design Engineer to join a leading company working in the area of power management. A great opportunity to work in an area of high demand in the industry and for a growing multinational company.

Working from their design centre in Limerick, Ireland, in this role you will work on Analog IC Design in CMOS technology designing efficient Analog and Digital DC/DC controller ICs for the consumer, automotive and industrial markets.

You will be tasked with leading and Designing Analog and Mixed Signal circuit blocks inside Analog and Digital controller ICs. You will be working with architects/system engineers and the digital design group to define the requirements for new efficient DC/DC solutions.

Other tasks include; floorplaning and working with layout engineers to implement circuit designs with best-practice layout techniques, you will work on chip integration and Top level Mixed Mode Simulation to successfully integrate Analog IP at chip level and support bench bring-up and test plans to validate, characterise and debug designs into high volume production.

Industry degree qualified, the successful Senior Analog IC Design engineer will have a minimum of 14 years Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design in CMOS and will have proven experience of taking designs from concept to mass production.

Experience is required in; interfacing with verification, process, test, program management, layout and application engineers to successfully bring new products from initial concept through release. A solid

background in control feedback systems is desired along with familiarity with Verilog-AMS Mixed Signal verification methodology. The role would suit someone who is interested in system design and how this translates to Analog design requirements and someone who can propose innovative and creative solutions where necessary to meet customer needs.

Familiarity with the Cadence design framework is required with Matlab and/or SIMPLIS experience is a plus
