Senior Analog / Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer

This is a new opportunity for a Senior Analog IC Design engineer to join a well established company to work within a new team developing highly specialised imaging products.
In this role you will be responsible for the design of the following Analog/Mixed Signal sub blocks in CMOS: amplifiers, ADCs, DACs, switched capacitor circuits, references and high speed interfaces. You will be tasked with contributing to product and architecture definition, top level IC verification, ASIC Layout or layout specification and simulation and performing first silicon evaluation and characterisation.
As a senior technical member of staff you will be involved with assisting with recruitment and mentoring of junior members of the team. The role offers a great opportunity to utilise your experience to date towards a company moving into silicon development on the back of continued success in their niche area.
Experience in some or all of the following is desired:
· Mixed signal modelling and simulation in VerilogA/MS;
· Noise analysis in CMOS circuits;
· Digital simulation, synthesis and ASIC implementation;
· DFM and DFT, concepts and techniques;
· Familiarity with digital concepts
The successful Analog IC Design Engineer will be industry degree qualified with a minimum of 5 years of Analog IC Design experience ideally with image sensor design experience. Familiarity with Analog IC Design in CMOS 180nm, 65nm and with Cadence design tools including Virtuoso.
You will have a strong track record of working effectively as part of a team and ideally have experience in producing first time functional silicon.
