Senior Sales Manager / Sales Leader - France based

An international Manufacturer of Electronic Components (Passive, & Emech) is currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager based within France to have responsibility for the whole of France and Italy, Spain, Portugal and other European Countries as well as a number of direct reports. It is a senior position and the product line includes both Passive and Emech products with emphasis on Sensors and Optoelectronics.

Requirements:


  • Own either an engineering, commercial or technical university degree
  • Have a successful track record and experience in Sales relevant to this market
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial sales personality with excellent communication and management skills.
  • Knowledge of the area relevant to passive / electro-mechanical components
  • Professional behaviour and negotiating skills to give you the opportunity to reach the agreed targets.
  • Independent in your daily activities, self-motivated and well organised
  • Team leader, flexible and resilient
  • Fluent in French & English, any additional European languages would also be an advantage

Responsibilities:

  • the Sales Leader, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales in specific countries within Europe for the entire product range, which emphasis on Sensors and Opto-electronics
  • Frequent travelling requited.
  • Managing 2 Sales Managers, Internal Sales team and 1 Field Application Engineer all as direct reports based in the relevant countries
  • Set up action plans in collaboration with regional management team and operations, to promote and increase sales of the product groups, with regular follow up and reporting.
  • Develop new accounts and strengthen existing relationship.
  • Look after the distribution partners in the area of responsibility.
  • Lead, negotiate and finalise customer contracts until completion.
  • Gain and maintain a clear appreciation of the market situation and competition landscape

This opportunity is with one of the most well-known manufacturers within the Passive and Emech market. They have large accounts throughout Europe and a strong place in the market. You will be one of the senior sales managers of Europe and have control over other regions outside of France (Italy, Spain, Portugal) and also be directly responsible for the French market as well, managing accounts within this region.
