This Research

Engineer - Mapping and Localisation - vacancy is based in Cambridge, UK within

the AI sector. My client is a well-funded start-up developing AI-driven

software for autonomous vehicles. As a Research Engineer, you will be focussing

on localisation and LiDAR, developing state-of-the-art algorithms using computer

vision techniques.


Eligible Research Engineers will have a

relevant degree such as Computer Science or similar and research experience in;



  • Mapping
  • Localisation
  • SLAM
  • Data structures and algorithms
  • C++ programming


  • Experience with sensor fusion, ROS and probabilistic modelling would be highly advantageous.
