Senior Digital Physical Design Engineer

This is a superb opportunity for a Senior Digital Physical Design Engineer to join a team of some of the brightest people in industry and contribute to the development of challenging multiprocessor ICs.

Our client is looking for an experienced Physical Design Engineer to join at an early stage of a brand new silicon design team within their business. The successful candidate will be a bright, ambitious and versatile engineer, who enjoys working within a small start-up style environment and is capable of helping to define the flows and methods required for the next generation of consumer IC products.


· Excellent academics with a 1st / 2:1 (or comparable) BSc / MSc degree in Electronics or similar

· Proven experience in digital physical implementation, from RTL-GDSII with skills including pin-placement, timing constraint definition, synthesis, P&R, extraction and timing analysis

· Floorplanning, clock tree synthesis, logical equivalence checking skills

The fundamental requirement is a good 'under the hood' technical understanding of digital physical implementation, and a passion for working within a start-up style environment. You want to be part of creating technology of the future, so you have a strong team focus, and a creative mind!
