Senior EDA Support Engineer
This is a great opportunity for an experienced CAD/EDA Support Engineer to join an expanding company based North of London. This company has grown from strength to strength and offers the chance to be a part of a progressive organisation working alongside experts in their field.
In this role you will be responsible for developing project environments, methodologies and Mixed Signal design flows for a team of Analog IC Design and System engineers.
You will be tasked with providing technical training and support for the development of design flows for multi-site engineering teams using industry standard EDA software such as Cadence, Mentor, Synopsys, Cliosoft, etc. You will assist tool evaluation and selection and will drive deployment, support and flow development.
You will be joining a diverse team of technical specialists developing and supporting deep-submicron IC development flows and tools and will continuously work to improve the quality of flows, develop and deploy systems and design methodologies. You will monitor performance optimisation efforts of EDA software and advise on hardware changes to maximize overall productivity.
Industry degree qualified, the successful EDA/CAD Support Engineer will have a minimum of 5 years experience within a similar position with demonstrated experience with multiple CAD flows: backend, frontend, validation, and digital verification methodologies.
You will be a strong communicator with a track record of delivering technical solutions and satisfying customers, having the ability to identify and analyse problems, device plans and implement solutions. A deep understanding of project execution requirements is required as well as hands-on knowledge of industry tools and techniques. A strong understanding of Analog, Mixed Signal and Digital IC design flows is required.
You will be self motivated with strong sense of ownership and responsibility with excellent communication skills.
