Senior Power Electronics Engineer

South Germany

Salary - Circa €80k - €90k

Based in the South of Germany and exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Power Electronics to join a fast-paced exciting organisation who are at the forefront of new Power Electronics technology. You will be responsible for supporting all application activities for existing product and new product development associated with Wide Band Gap devices (Silicon Carbide and Gallium Nitride).

The Senior Power Electronics Engineer will also be involved in customer interaction at all levels from design and development, through to component engineering and general management. You will be an expert in WBG devices and will provide technical support to customers as well as interacting with the Marketing, Packaging and other Design Teams.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering as well as a proven background in the following:

 Development of demos, reference designs and test circuits.

 Knowledge of topologies (buck, boost and Sepic).

 Expert knowledge in MOSFET or WBG physics.
