This business has a unique take on wireless communications and they are really making quite the ripple in their market - with numerous high level industry partners fighting to work with them. If they want to work with them, I can only presume you would want to work with them too right? Of course you do, you would relish being their Purchasing Manager and one of the most crucial individuals to this cutting edge company's success, pulling the strings with their suppliers ensuring quality and cost constraints are met and providing your strategic input to ensure sustainability of their supply chain.


You will invariably by coming from some form of Wireless Communications background yourself, something like satellite technology (satcoms), antennas, data comms or the like and will be ready to manage cradle to grave procurement in highly changeable environment which could ramp up new products at any moment. There are all the usual procurement management bits to sink your teeth into, but also some strategic aspects to consider - with identifying second sources for a number of components particularly important.
