Power Electronics Systems Engineer - Automotive.

South Germany

Salary €80k+

The Power Electronics Systems Engineer will be joining a pioneering company at the forefront of the automotive industry. This is an exciting role where the suitable individual will leverage key internal product development to deliver power conversion systems for traction inverters, on-board charging and DC-DC converters. You will be a technical authority in Power Electronics Systems in the automotive sector and will liaise with other departments including Power Electronics and IC Design and in short act as an Applications Engineer.

Main responsibilities will also include: identify market trends in automotive power conversion, understand and define customer needs with regards to power systems and translate into technical requirements, develop emerging automotive power conversion systems and develop and support relationships with key customers.

The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent in Electronics or Power Electronics related to System Engineering with a proven background in the following:

· Power conversion (DC-DC, AC-DC).

· Power Inverters (AC-DC).


· Hands on systems level design.

Other desirable skills include:

· Functional safety standards (ISO26262).

· Excellent interpersonal skills.
