This is a great opportunity for a Digital Physical Design Engineer to work on an exciting new array of projects, and get involved in the growth of a new IC team in Bristol.
Having recently opened doors in January, our client is a leader in their field, with plans to significantly expand the ASIC team this year. They seek talented Digital Backend Design Engineers to join this new 'start-up' style team, which is part of a very established, successful company.
In this role you'll be working on the complete backend IC flow for large, highly complex designs. This includes taking responsibility for floorplanning, synthesis and physical verification, timing closure and Place & Route. You'll be working alongside some extremely experienced physical design veterans, soaking up new skills and experience that will undoubtedly further your career.
As the successful candidate you will be degree qualified, with a Bachelors (minimum) in Electronics or related field, and will have been working in at least one prior position as a Digital Physical Design Engineer. You'll have a good understanding of the backend IC flow, from RTL to GDSII, with hands-on expertise including Synthesis, Floorplanning, DFT, STA, Place & Route (P&R), and physical verification. Cadence Innovus and / or Synopsys ICC experience would be ideal, although not essential.
