USA Sales Manager - Embedded Systems

Boston / Detroit, USA

Competitive Base Salary + 40% commission + benefits


Leading EDA company, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager with significant experience of embedded applications for the automotive sector. You will be leading a small team and will be required to either be based in Boston, near the office, or home-based in the Detroit area.


Requirements:

*Degree educated or equivalent - with Masters preferred.

*Proven sales experience in embedded applications / systems for the automotive market.

*Ability to hit, and exceed, targets through developing a strong pipeline of opportunity through new business and via growing existing accounts.


Responsibilities:

*To drive sales and new business across the USA; delivering strong value proposition.

*Manage a small team - ensuring that they hit targets and that all are working toward the common goal.

*Redefining the reactive sales model to be pro-active; leading by example.

*Communicating effectively to executive and C-level contacts; building strong rapport and ensuring a lasting business relationship.


This is open to an experienced embedded sales professional who is able to take the reins of a small team and maximise sales through new business and developing strong pipelines. You will have good knowledge of the automotive industry and a large network in Europe already.
