Senior Software Engineer - C++ / Qt - Berkshire

We are looking for a senior software engineer experienced with C++ and Qt, to join the R&D team at a market leader in the television production and broadcast market, developing analysis products.

As a C++ Senior Software Engineer with Qt you will be responsible for designing and implementing a range of features, using a mix of software concepts to showcase our latest hardware platform. You will also design new tools and bring new products to market as we continue to expand our portfolio.

You will be experienced using C++14 to do everything from hardware abstraction, through backend infrastructure right up to GUI, across multiple platforms from embedded to desktop. User experience is essential to our success and should be considered throughout development. We make use of Qt features to accelerate our development time, requiring a pragmatic approach to software development.

Suitable candidates for this position are likely to come from a strong academic background in a Software Engineering related discipline and have had significant commercial experience in a similar C++ Software Engineering position.
