Business Development Manager - Software & Services - Cambridge, UK.
My client is an innovative technology consultancy start-up, in Cambridge, that provides custom software and consultancy services to the tech industry. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their small team and develop a strong pipeline of opportunity.
Requirements:
*Proven experience of sales or business development in a consultancy/services business.
*Demonstrable experience of developing new business within the software or electronics industry.
*Strong interpersonal skills and ability to operate at a decision-maker level.
*Ability to map out the industry and target relevant contacts in order to develop new business.
Responsibilities:
*Present technical opportunities to clients and interact with decision-makers in order to close-the-deal.
*Understand the market-place and map out new, strategic, areas to target.
*Develop a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
*Account management of existing clients; nurturing accounts and developing further new business within them.
Open to a pro-active New Business professional who can map out the industry and specific strategic targets. You will be "hands-on" and not afraid to get stuck into a start-up environment. You will also have solid experience of working for a consultancy in the past.
