Senior/Principal Analog/RF IC Design Engineer - Cambridge

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior or Principal RF IC Design Engineer to join a global company in their design centre based in Cambridge working on high performance next generation transceiver design for cellular and connectivity applications.

In this role the RF IC Design Engineer will be involved in the design of blocks such as; LNAs, Mixers, filters, PLLs and mixed signal blocks with an emphasis on RF and high speed applications in CMOS technology.

Responsibilities will include taking charge of key IP developments for RF/Analog IC design projects, definition, design, simulation, verification and documentation of high performance Mixed Signal integrated circuits and providing technical support to more junior members of the team

Industry degree qualified, the successful RF IC Design Engineer will have established experience from within a similar role. Experience is required in some of all of the following; LNAs, Mixers, filters and PLLs. Experience in some or all of the following would be desired; high-speed high performance circuit design, High Speed ADCs, DACs, Op amps, bandgaps. Knowledge of advanced sub-micron technologies such as FinFet would be an advantage.
