We are looking for a PhD qualified Digital ASIC Design Engineer to join our globally successful client - a unique IC design firm which is revolutionising wireless technology for the Internet of Things.

Based in Cambridge, this is a highly challenging, diverse position in which the ASIC Design Engineer will be responsible for all stages of the digital design wireless communication systems, from specification and architecture, through design implementation, verification through to tapeout and debug support. As a small team, our client values self-motivated people who have the ability to solve complex problems, and work well with the analog and software teams.

*A highly talented Digital ASIC Design Engineer with excellent academic credentials (PhD in Electronic Engineering or similar preferred)
*A proven background in Digital ASIC / FPGA Design
*Expertise in Verilog RTL coding would be advantageous
*Experience of wireless communication systems and protocols would be preferable
*Any prior experience in the implementation of PHY layer algorithms and protocols / MAC layer protocols would be of real interest.

Our client can be flexible on experience level, depending on skills and capability. Please note, candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
