Chief Scientist in Analog IC Design

IC Resources has a very unique opportunity for a leading Analog IC Design engineer in the UK. We are currently searching for a Chief Scientist who will lead a new Analog IC Design team conducting academic and applied research. This team will work with the commercial design teams developing state of the art Analog IC designs for wireless communication products. Your main responsibility in this role will be to lead the research team in the development of world leading, state-of-the-art IC designs. Ideally you will have a mixture of research and commercial experience and you will be PhD qualified. You can be based in either Central London or Cambridge and there may be some travel between the two sites. You must be eligible to work in the UK to be considered for this role as sponsorship is not an option.

Key Points:
- Lead the research and design of state-of-the-art Analog IC designs
- Collaborate with the commercial product groups and academics to achieve this goal
- Work closely with academic groups
- Help to recruit and manage a team of Analog IC design and layout engineers
- Interact with the companies HQ to sync up on projects
- Define the product roadmap and delivery schedules
- You will be eligible to work in the UK
- You can be based in either Cambridge or London
