Field Application Engineer - Manufacturer - UK - Home/Field based

A global manufacturer of innovative Semiconductor solutions for the Embedded market is currently seeking a field application engineer who has experience relevant to DSP, Microcontrollers or FPGA with strong software skills and good customer interaction skills. They will be responsible for offering technical support and assistance to customers from initial contact through to the design completion phase.

Requirements:

-Experienced software engineer who is comfortable advising on technical issues and demonstrating/presenting new products
-Experience working Embedded technology is essential and design experience would be an advantage
-Excellent programming skills (C/C++)
-Understanding of voice processing applications and technology

Responsibilities:

-Provide solutions to technical questions and issues relating to relevant voice/audio technology
-Promote and demonstrate solutions to target customers
-Serve as a technical consultant to potential and existing customers, qualifying requirements and offering guidance
-Identify and understand technical trends and clearly communicate recommendations for future product and requirements

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineer contemplating a new and more customer facing challenge.
