Technical Support Engineer
Remote Working (Home based)
Up to £35k (depending on experience)

My client, an established software house based in Cambridge, providing an online Intellectual Property Management platform to clients around the world is looking for an experienced client-facing Technical Support professional to join their growing team. You will work from home with occasional visits required to Cambridge and to visit client sites in the UK and abroad.

You will be responsible for new installations and supporting existing installations (both Cloud-hosted on AWS and on-premises installations). This role will appeal to someone with strong technical skills who enjoys trouble-shooting.

Technical Skills

Essential: Windows Server, IIS, ASP.NET, Web Applications, MS SQL Server

Desirable: Experience of AWS, Active Directory, and Data Migration

Support Experience

Application Trouble-shooting
Application Installation, Configuration, and Testing
Liaising with End Users and Client IT Staff
Delivering End User Training a plus
Background
Either a good degree, or a solid track record supporting ASP.NET Web Applications
3 years' commercial experience
