Based in Hertfordshire the Power Electronics Design Engineer will be joining a fantastic technology company that focus on the automotive market. The hardware department at this company is rapidly growing and the successful engineer will be joining a great team, working in an exciting environment.

The Power Electronics Design Engineer will be tasked to design and develop automotive products with primary focus on high voltage applications; these products include Instrument clusters, Head-up Displays, body control and power electronics systems. The position will also involve HW/SW interface management, BOM cost analysis, writing documentation of the design, evaluation testing and release.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree in electronics and have direct exposure to:

*Power conversion for low (60v).
*DC-DC converter and inverter design.
*Knowledge of EMC and Thermal management.

This role is open to candidates that have the right to work in the UK; unfortunately the company does not have the capacity to sponsor a candidate from outside the EU.
