Senior/Principal Layout Engineer
Edinburgh, Scotland

This is an opportunity for a senior or Principal level Analog IC Layout Engineer to join a successful company involved in high performance Analog/Mixed Signal ICs for the consumer electronics market in Scotland.

In your position you will be working on the Analog IC Layout for power management circuits related to audio applications, in particular switching and buck boost converters and LDO's.

In this role you will be involved with all Layout activities including top, cell and block level creation, edit and full verification using state-of-the-art layout techniques for matching, ESD, latch-up prevention and parasitic reduction.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in block level through to top-level layout, including floor planning, power routing and full verification prior to tape-out.
* Thorough understanding of the impact of their layout in terms of yield and financial implication.
* Demonstrable competence in DFT techniques
* Competence and expertise in providing layouts to deadline as defined by project plans
