Successful Semiconductor IP company in Bristol is seeking a skilled Digital ASIC Design Engineer. This is an excellent chance to on the latest video and graphics technology for the most desirable consumer gadgets on the market today.

Our client is seeking an experienced Digital ASIC Design Engineer to join them developing the very latest in high performance, low power Graphics cores for the consumer market. The successful Digital ASIC Designer will join our client's newly established IC development centre in central Bristol and cover RTL design, verification, synthesis, and power performance analysis whilst steering the RTL team and mentoring junior engineers.

*Degree or equivalent in Electronic or Electrical Engineering
*An established background in ASIC/FPGA design, with an ability to ability to turn architecture into real hardware
*Strong knowledge of high speed and low power design
*VHDL or Verilog RTL coding expertise
*Prior experience working in the video / graphics domain would be a plus, but not essential
*Good interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to lead and motivate the team
