Senior/Principal Analog IC Design Engineer - Power Management - Scotland

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer to join a highly successful company involved in high performance Analog/Mixed Signal ICs for the consumer electronics market.

Located in the stunning city of Edinburgh, in this position you will be joining an established team of highly experienced engineers and your tasks will include;

* Specification and design of CMOS/BCD power management circuits
* Lab evaluation and support for circuit blocks and whole ICs
* Supporting DFT strategy and implementation
* Top level simulation and verification planning and implementation
* Supporting test development and ramp to production
* Managing/guiding circuit/block layout
* Instigating peer reviews

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 8 years experience in Analog IC Design in one of the following areas: audio, power management or consumer displays. Experience in some or all of the following is also required; DC-DC converters, switching converters, controllers: Buck/Boost/Chargers, Linear regulators or chargers. Knowledge of portable power management including lithium ion multi-cell charging characteristics is highly desirable.

You will be required to work to a high standard and within deadline, be self-motivated and work well in team. The ability to propose innovative and leading edge solutions will be a strong benefit.
