Electronics Embedded Engineer - Start-up - Medical Devices - Oxford

I am looking for an Electronics Embedded Engineer with a strong background in Electronics and Embedded Software Design, who can apply these skills in a real-world, fast moving start-up business.

My client is looking for talented, motivated and self-directed individuals, who will join a multidisciplinary team of engineers, physicists and commercial people, working at the forefront of a new technology transforming the healthcare industry. You will have an honours degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and be able to work be collaboratively and independently.

Role Summary:
Working within the Research & Development department, the Electronics Engineer is responsible for electronics and embedded software development for my client products, including any development needed for R&D purposes.

Some of the main duties and tasks include:
*Undertake R&D tasks to deliver project requirements
*Embedded Software Development.
*Hands-on mechanical and electronic assembly, wiring layout and adjustment of components.
*Schematic capture, simulation and PCB layout.
*Support colleagues with electronics assembly, wiring layout and adjustment of components.

Essential experience:
*A proven background in an Electrical/Electronics Engineer role.
*Analogue and Digital Electrical circuit design.
*Embedded C for programming microcontrollers.

Desirable skills:
*Working with High Voltage and knowledge of safety considerations.
*FPGA programming.
*Proficiency in Altium Designer, Labview, Matlab, Python.
