Digital ASIC Design Engineer - Video

My client is a Global Market Leader in mobile graphics and video based in the UK who is searching for experienced engineers- an exciting company to work for, they develop the technology for an ever growing number of electronic devices. The dynamic team requires a new member with a number of years' experience in Digital Design.

This is a great opportunity for a Digital Design Engineer to join a leading company developing advanced video processing technology. If you have knowledge of VHDL or Verilog coding for ASIC or FPGA, and are keen to take your career further developing video processing cores for a top range of electronic devices this could be the opportunity for you.

The role:
You will be working within the ASIC team you will be responsible for VHDL specification, coding and synthesis of video algorithms, top level integration and testing. This will give you the opportunity to work on computer vision cores for a number of applications. There is lots of opportunity for career and personal growth in this role as this area of the business continues to expand and hiring of talented engineers is essential.

The right candidate will be:
*Understanding of VHDL / Verilog coding
*Experience in ASIC or FPGA RTL Design
*A passion for image / video processing technology
*Good communications skills and the ability to work in a team
*A real interest in creating efficient complex HW designs
*Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering or any relevant subject
