Computer Vision/Deep Learning Engineer

Location: Berlin, Germany

Job Type: 6+ month

The Company

Consol partner's client is a global tier 1 automotive supplier for the world's biggest OEMs.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for the development of image-based detection and detection classification algorithms
  • You will design and develop neural networks (for example DNN) for the solution of object detection requirements in the field of automotive
  • You will review and evaluate current scientific publications and evaluate them with regard to application in the automotive environment
  • You question network architectures with regard to optimization potentials,
  • Combination and variation.
  • You will benchmark alternative approaches to quality and quality resources
  • You will be implement the developed procedures in prototypes and in series.

The Individual

Qualifications:

  • Professional experience in signal processing, image processing, computer vision etc.
  • Practical experience in the field of machine learning, deep learning, CNNs
  • Very good knowledge of C, C ++ and Python
  • Fluent English
  • Practical experience with Caffe, Theano or TensorFlow or other libraries

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge from the field of software development on Embedded-systems
  • Knowledge of Production / Automatic Optical Inspection
  • Knowledge of automotive architectures, tools,
  • Methods and processes, e.g. AUTOSAR, Vector, CAN and Automotive SPICE
  • Experience in Automotive Driver Assistance
  • Ideally knowledge of the German language although this is an English speaking project
