Technical Sales Engineer - Embedded Boards - Manufacturer

My client is a leading manufacturer of custom design embedded boards and they are currently seeking a Technical Sales Engineer in the Cambridgeshire area who has both strong technical knowledge of embedded boards and commercial experience working with customers.


*BSc/ BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and marketing qualifications/experience
*In-depth understanding of Embedded Boards, electronic systems, communication systems, M2M architectures and software solutions selling
* Ability to provide assistance with post-sales technical support to customers
* Ability to produce and deliver professional sales proposals and presentations of products

Duties and Responsibilities

* Provide product/ application support to customers and Sales & Marketing teams
* Serve as a technical consultant to potential and existing customers, qualifying requirements and offering guidance as to the best solution
* Be a bridge between the Engineering and Sales departments
* Developing strong relationships with key customers and engineering groups

This role is a great opportunity for someone who has the technical knowledge to provide support but also is commercially aware to present products to customers. You will work with both Sales and Product Development teams to providing advance product information and system configuration information.
