Analog IC Design Engineer - Germany

A market leading Semiconductor company in looking for an Analog IC Designer to join their team in Thuringia to work on the development of optical sensor front ends.

In your position as Analog IC Design Engineer you will be responsible for the following:

*Specification, design and development of Analog Mixed Signal IC's with focus in Optical Sensor Front ends from initial concept, design, simulation and verification through prototype approval and production ramp up
*Responsible for CMOS Analog IC Design, formal design review presentations as well as for evaluation, debugging and characterization of products and devices
*Creation and patenting of new IP
*Technical project leadership
*Technical interfaces to customers

As the successful Analog IC Designer you will be industry degree qualified and have 5+ years of experience from a similar position within a commercial company in a Cadence design environment and laboratory measurement equipment.
Previous experience in Optical Sensor and Optical Architecture Design will be beneficial to your application as well as some experience in project management with international partners and a willingness to travel and work in intercultural and interdisciplinary teams.

You should be customer oriented and have good communication skills in English with German being of advantage.
