Senior Sales Manager - semiconductor instrumentation

My client manufactures a broad range of instrumentation for the semiconductor industry, selling units between $2,000 and $500,000! They're currently looking for a Senior Sales and Business Development Manager who can push for growth in Europe, by restructuring their sales channel (appointing new distributors/ reps); expanding in to different value added service offerings to subsidise capital sales; and provide tactical input on new product development/ potential acquisition targets.

They are a very well established brand in life sciences and semiconductors (amongst other fields), but feel they're 'on the cusp' of double digit growth - providing they can appoint the right person to deliver on European sales and business development.

This position will report in to a European General Manager, but also with a dotted line to the VP and GM in the US, so you'll be a high profile employee with a lot of strategic input.

You will have:

- A technical degree (in electronics engineering, physics or similar)
- A background working in a fab environment
- 10+ years selling in to European semiconductor OEMs
- An appreciation of how particle contamination effects yield
- A home office in Germany (ideally Dresden)
- The willingness to travel frequently

This company are primed to expand quickly, following the recent acquisition of another European organisation.
