Rewarding salary + Benefits
A new opportunity for a Digital Physical Design Engineer has arisen with our fabless Semiconductor client based in Munich.
This company is a small, hugely innovative company whose technology equips millions of automotive products around the world. If you are looking for a position in which you can really make a difference and take more responsibility, this may be a great option for you.
Our client is looking for an experienced Digital Physical Design Engineer to be responsible for the physical implementation of their mixed-signal ICs, with a particular focus on synthesis, LEC and test insertion. You will be responsible for the entire full-custom back-end flow, from HDL synthesis and LEC via Place & Route and test insertion as well as DRC/LVS, and performing tapeouts to the Foundries. It's a small team, hence you will be a key point of contact for back-end design, working closely alongside other groups.
Our client is looking for a creative, flexibly-minded person, who enjoys working within a small, dynamic team environment.
Requirements:
*A University degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
*Strong German and English language skills
*A solid knowledge of the digital backend design flow (synthesis, LEC, Test insertion, Place & Route)
*Solid knowledge in the field of semiconductor process technology (CMOS) and semiconductor physics
*A creative, flexible work ethic
Please contact Caroline @ IC Resources to discuss further.
A number of key skills will be required: IC, digital, physical design, backend, RTL, GDSII, GDS2, floorplanning, Place & Route, P&R, Synthesis, STA, VHDL, Verilog, test insertion, test, LEC, Cadence, DRC, LVS, EDA, Semiconductor, Munich, Germany.
