Principal Analog IC Design Engineer - Thames Valley - UK

New opportunity for a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer with a company working on advanced technology for the wireless communications market! They currently seek a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer for their site located along the Thames Valley. This is an opportunity to join a dedicated team to work on the specification, design and verification of key circuits and sub-systems of integrated RF transceivers.

In this role you will be specifying, designing and verifying Analog/Mixed Signal circuits in RF transceivers and will be working closely with other teams to facilitate the design and production process and as a Principal designer, will provide technical expertise and mentoring of junior engineers.

Industry degree qualified you will have established experience in Analog IC Design and will have a minimum of 8 years experience. You will have experience with successful Analog IC project contributions for highly integrated Mixed Signal designs involving various levels of systems integration. An understanding of low power/low noise design techniques for Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design is required as well as knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacture) considerations on cutting edge processes. An appreciation of Analog layout techniques is also required.

Experience is required in some or all of the following; amplifiers, low power oscillators, low drop out regulators, data converters (ADC/DAC) and high precision biasing techniques. Experience is essential in Cadence or Mentor design tools and in CMOS technology.

Excellent communications skills are required and the ability to work well within a team.
